The East Berkshire Primary Care Out of Hours Service (EBPC) is a community benefit society providing out of hours services for about 400,000 patients in the geographic area of East Berkshire. It provides GP services including telephone advice, primary care centres and home visiting services, and is also developing other projects locally.

As part of the EBPC remit the organisation has been tasked to deliver improved services for both patients and primary care staff across the region. EBPC chose to partner with technology provider OPEX Hosting to assist in achieving these goals, starting with the launch of a groundbreaking initiative to provide GPs and primary care providers in their area with a raft of new telephony services.
