OPEX Hosting provide a hosted call recording solution specifically tailored to meet the needs of NHS staff, members and affiliates and private healthcare organisations.

The OPEX Call Recording Service gives you the ability to record any telephone call to and from any landline or mobile phone. In the past this has meant a complex investment in equipment and technology, taking time and resource to learn how to use it and implement it. This is not the case with our new service - OPEX enables you to record calls without the need to install any equipment!

How does it work?

1. When you sign up for OPEX you will be assigned a telephone number known as your 'OPEX number' which is unique to you.

2. When making any calls you want recorded you simply dial that number (which is usually a pre-programmed speed dial), wait for a dial tone and then dial the number you want to call. This will ensure the call is recorded.

3. Retrieval couldn't be easier. All you need is a PC with speakers connected to the NHS Net. You can then login to the NHS Server where the OPEX recording site will enable you to search for, retrieve and play back your calls. Incoming calls can also be recorded by routing your existing number to go via the OPEX call recording service.

Call recordings represent part of a patient's record and will be stored in line with Caldecott guidelines.
